Musical Theatre

Layla plays a variety of instruments - clarinets, saxophones, bassoon and flute. She studied all 4 instruments at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where she received a Distinction in a Masters in Music Performance. As well as playing as a soloist, Layla particularly enjoys doubling and playing in a variety of shows in London and Derbyshire. Most recently, she played reed 2 with the 22-piece London Musical Theatre Orchestra for Lucie Jones Live at the Adelphi.

Chamber Variations

Layla is a founding member of Chamber Variations, a doubling quartet that plays everything from beautifully classical duets/trios/quartets to jazzy saxophone music.
